The Cook role: As a Cook at our assisted living/senior living home located in Biddeford, ME, you will support seniors to live life fully by preparing healthy, delicious meals. You will prep food, cook all menu items according to standardized recipes, serve, stock, and clean up after meals. You are responsible for safe food handling and preparing food to meet the therapeutic needs of the residents. An ideal candidate enjoys interacting with seniors and is happy working in a professional senior home environment.

Pay rate ranging from $16.00/hr. to $17.50/hr. depending on certifications and shift. Hiring immediately! No experience? No problem! We are willing to train the right individual!

Requirements

  • One year of experience as a line cook, prep cook or breakfast cook in a food service setting and experience working with seniors is preferred, but not required
  • 18 years of age or over
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with residents and coworkers whose primary language is English
